SUMMARY:AS 101: Preparing for Successful Accreditation in Aging Services
DESCRIPTION:This engaging five-part virtual training provides a solid foundation for organizations seeking CARF accreditation for their Aging Services programs. This training will take place during five sessions of two hours each\, beginning Thursday\, February 27\, 2025. Additional two-hour sessions will be held on the following Thursday and move to Fridays\, ending March 28\, 2025.   \n\n\n\n\n\nThursday\, February 27         Thursday\, March 6Friday\, March 14 Friday\, March 21Friday\, March 28 \n\n\n\n\n\nScheduled times are:11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Eastern time) \n\n\n\n\n\nThese live online training sessions will offer a comprehensive review of the ASPIRE to Excellence® quality framework standards\, which provide a logical and action-oriented approach to continuous quality improvement in business management and service delivery. An overview of program standards is also included\, with discussion of practical examples of conformance. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis training is highly recommended for those preparing for accreditation in Aging Services for the first time\, as well as for those who need an update and refresher course. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe training includes: \n\n\n\n\nAn overview of the accreditation process\n\n\n\nSurvey preparation tips\n\n\n\nPractical examples of conformance to the standards\n\n\n\nHighlights of new standards\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will have an opportunity to ask questions of the training faculty. \n\n\n\n\n\nA standards manual is highly recommended for this training. Event attendees will receive a coupon code for a 15% discount on CARF Aging Services publications after registering for this event.
